Waddle on over to our 2020 Annual Duck Race! Join us for a day of raising money for G.L.O.W. A day filled with food, music, games, raffles.... Oh and Ducks!
The Northern Illinois University Eta Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, a co-ed service fraternity, is hosting its 19th Annual Duck Race on Saturday, April 18th, 2020 behind the engineering building on field North 40. The Duck Race sells hundreds of rubber ducks around the DeKalb and Chicagoland area. These ducks are then raced down the Kishwaukee River with prizes given to winners of the race. All proceeds raised from this event are donated to Girls Light Our Way. This organization’s mission is to improve the lives of girls in areas of health, self-efficacy, and financial literacy- providing tools to be productive leaders. The Duck Race also features a family fun fair with activities such as a moon bounce, music, and outdoor games.
Please help us out by donating to our cause! Each dollar amount is 1 Duck entry. Buying a Duck will enter you in the chance of winning $100.
Buying an event pass will get you an entry into our festival and 2 entries into the duck race.
